If a user was created by the MIS sync then realsmart will suspend any users who are not present in the MIS any longer- ie they reacxh their leave date or the MIS manager removes them for another reason.
If you are sure the user exists within your MIS please check that unique data (UPN for students or Staff Code for staff) is present and that it is not clashing with any other users in your MIS. Clashing or non-existent unique data is the most common cause of suspensions.

You can easily download todays MIS data from smartadmin. Just follow these steps to download a csv and check that the suspended user is in todays data:

  1. Sign into smartadmin here
  2. Navigate to Dashboard, Check the date of the Last import from MIS was today and download the csv by hitting the download button

  3. If the date is not today please contact support@realsmart.co.uk to report the issue
  4. If the suspended user is in your MIS but not on the csv please contact support@realsmart.co.uk to report the issue along with the users Role, Name and UPN is a student.
