Getting Started


Your Child's School

In order to get started, your school should be signed up with realsmart and should have a subscription to our smartparent service.

Your child's school will then issue you with details to associate children with your account.

Signing Up

Signing up is easy, just go to the registration page here fill in your details and sign up.


Logging In

Once you are registered you can log into your account by going to the link here.


Adding Associations

Your child's school will send you a pin and a username for each of your children, once you have these details you can login and add a child.

The data provided may look something like this:


Once you have this data, you can login and select Add Association.

Now enter your child's School, Pin and Username in the boxes provided then click add. If you enter the details correctly your child will now appear on the home page.

Dashboard

 

After you have selected a child from your home page, you will be able to view their dashboard.




Homework

You will be able to see all of your child's homeworks that have been set using smarthomework.

You can navigate to:

  • Active - Homework which is actively being completed by students, or being marked by teachers.

  • Scheduled - Homework which is scheduled to be completed in the future.

  • Complete - Homework that has been marked as complete by a teacher.




You can also select More Details, which will provide further detail on an individual homework.

If your school has purchased the full version of smartparents then the following is available:

Attendance

On the left side of the application, you will be able to view your child's attendance.

At the top is a pie chart with percentages which shows the attendance for your child for the current academic year.

Below this, there is a section titled Past 14 Days, this shows your childs AM/PM attendance data for the past 14 days.

Calendar

You can view the School’s upcoming events and important dates.


Documents

A list of the School’s important documents.


Achievements

You can view achievement data stored by your child's school, achievements are generally positive and are assigned by teachers using their MIS system.



Behaviour

You can view behaviour data stored by your child's school, behaviours are generally negative and are assigned by teachers using their MIS system.


Timetable

You can view two week's worth of timetable for your child.
